Rosseau Active Women (RAW) is a community group for women of all ages. If you enjoy working on community projects, listening to guest speakers, and partaking in fun activities, RAW is for you.

The group meets on the third Tuesday of each month (except July and August) at 7:30pm in the Rosseau Memorial Community Hall. For more information, please contact Elaine Vida at 732-6338.

RAW is also actively engaged in managing and providing program and facility for  the RAW Wellness Room, which is located in the lower level of the Ruth Dare Health Clinic.  In 2008, with permission from Seguin Township Council, RAW co-ordinates bookings of "healthrelated"events, at no charge, held at the Wellness Room.                                         Non health related events are booked through the Seguin Township office 705-732-4300                                                                                                                                             Recent fundraising activities have been focused on the Wellness Room. Rosseau Wellness Room

The Rosseau Wellness Room was established in order to provide a facility where health and wellbeing can be promoted. It is available free of charge for health promoting activities and can be reserved for your next health related event or workshop. The Wellness Room is perfect for presentations, classes, workshops, lessons, or any activity that is open to the general public and related to health. The Wellness Room is conveniently located in the centre of the village of Rosseau at 17 Victoria Street, in the brand new Ruth Dare Health Clinic which is also home to the Rosseau & Area Nursing Station.

How to Make Reservations

Reservations are taken by the Rosseau Active Women . Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and the approval process is at the discretion of the organization. Room Specifications: Room size: 28 feet x 30 feet Wheelchair accessibility  10 electrical outlets in the room  50 comfortable folding chairs Large conference tables. 2 washrooms  No internet access Service centre for water/dish washing  You need to bring your own A/V equipment, screen, flip chart, and any other equipment you  may need for your activities.                               An Occupancy Rules sheet will be provided upon reservation
